Area Sales Engineer – East UK
The role will involve developing new business in both existing and new accounts in the East of England through regular technical and commercial presentations to both R&D Managers, Engineers and also high level commercial decision makers. You will be responsible for working with customers to develop and manage sales opportunities through offering both technical and commercial solutions.
Our ideal candidate will be a sales professional with solid experience, who is ambitious and hungry for success and its associated rewards. Your past experience will have been preferably gained from either the electronics manufacturing, distributor or aligned sectors. You will be a confident and self-motivated individual, who has the ability to work on their own and at times as part of a team; you will demonstrate a sound technical engineering knowledge, be educated to at least HNC level in an engineering discipline and be able to demonstrate good commercial awareness. Experience of meeting agreed sales targets will be essential as well as building strong relationships with all key stakeholders.
The position could be home or office based dependent on where the candidate lives and if you are home based you would be required to visit our sales office in Poulton-Le-Fylde, Lancashire for regular meetings. After an initial training period you will be required to plan and organise regular trips to visit existing and new customers within your area.
